Steve Bratspis is the Operations Director for CDPHP Cycle! at Shared Mobility Inc., where he oversees the day-to-day operations of the Capital Region’s bikeshare system. His work focuses on maximizing opportunities for residents and visitors to access and enjoy CDPHP Cycle!’s fleet of e-bikes and pedal bikes. Steve leads a dedicated team of mechanics and field technicians who work to keep the system running smoothly and provide a great experience for riders.

Since joining SMI in 2023, Steve has helped support CDPHP Cycle!’s continued growth, including record-setting ridership, fleet expansion, and an expanding service area. CDPHP Cycle! now operates nearly 600 bikes across six counties, serving more than one million residents and visitors. In 2025, the system surpassed 100,000 rides in a single season for the first time, and in 2026 celebrated its 10th season and reached 500,000 lifetime rides.

Steve holds a degree in Fine Art from The College of Saint Rose and is proud to provide a service that connects his community through active and sustainable transportation.

Outside of SMI, Steve is the track announcer at Tri-City BMX in Rotterdam, NY.

SMI’s Capital Region bikeshare work helped grow a regional pilot into CDPHP Cycle!, a long-term public transportation service connecting communities across Albany, Schenectady, Troy, Saratoga Springs, and beyond.
