Shane Paul is a Program Manager at Shared Mobility Inc., where he works across the SMI team to develop and implement equity-focused transportation programs. His work includes e-bike rebate operations, e-bike libraries, and exploring new approaches to expanding access to sustainable transportation.

Since joining SMI in 2020, Shane has worked closely with community-based organizations to launch the first community-owned, long-term e-bike lending programs of their kind.

Shane’s work in transportation extends beyond SMI. He founded Queen City Couriers, a bicycle courier service in Buffalo, and serves as Chair of the Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Board. He was also part of the first cohort of the UC Davis Climate Justice Fellowship and is a contributor to research on community-controlled transportation and Western New York’s e-bike library programs.

Outside of work, Shane enjoys organizing group rides and throwing parties.
