We are proud to announce CDPHP Cycle! is launching in the Capital Region of New York. We have been working very hard with the Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) and Social Bicycles in order to bring a locally run bike share to the area. CDPHP Cycle! will be supported by CDTA, other local institutions, and a title sponsorship from CDPHP. This is an excellent example of a public/private partnership. The system will start with 160 bikes publicly available at 20 different locations in 4 different cities– Albany, Saratoga Springs, Schenectady, and Troy.
We are proud to help launch this program through demonstrations, siting analysis, partnership development, and operational modeling. We hope this system will be part of a growing bike share culture in Upstate New York that was initiated first by Reddy Bikeshare.
